So far, we did 3 sensory science experiment. I termed them ‘sensory’ as there were some hands-on and mess during the science experiment. This time, I wanted something simple without mess. With some left over celery, we explored osmosis. In Sweet Butterfly terms, osmosis is the process where plant drinks water to grow.
Sweet butterfly helped to get water in the bottles and I added food colouring. Next, she added the celery.
The next day.
What she learnt:
1) Plants absorb water. This process is osmosis
2) The water travels up to the leaves.
